Сначала квудль (со товарищи) нашелся в восхитительном журнале http://olejnikov.livejournal.com/.
И выглядел он так:

И сие называлось "Песня Квудля".
После этого мяхкие зверьки единодушно признали Квудля своим демиургом, ибо песня квудля есть не что иное, как Песнь Творения, в результате которой появляются и мяхкие зверьки, и гнезда для них, и всякие интересные или просто разноцветные штуки, которые так любят мяхкие зверьки (пуговицы, вязаные шапочки, мячики...).
А потом нашлось стихотворение про Квудля - его написал Честертон.
